WHAT IS IT?
eCrypt is a software that resides and operates independently on your BlackBerry® device to encrypt emails: that means there are no outside equipment or 3rd parties involved.

WHAT DOES IT DO?
With eCrypt software your emails remain private as they travel through, and are stored on, the infrastructures of service providers engaged in the process: whether that provider is a Wireless Service Provider like AT&T Mobility, an Email Service Provider like AOL or Gmail, or your employer.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Using a unique process eCrypt software creates unique Private Tunnels between you and each one of your contacts. Once a Private Tunnel is created emails are automatically encrypted using NSA certified encryption - you are free to send emails exactly the same way you always did, except this time you can rest assured they are protected against hackers and other unauthorized intruders.
