Incorporated on April 19 of 2007 in the state of Colorado USA, eCrypt Technologies' founding team first assembled in 2006 and began concept development for what has become our flagship product, eCrypt, encryption software for use on BlackBerry smartphones.
eCrypt is a proud Associate Member of the BlackBerry Alliance Program.
Although eCrypt plans to expand it's encryption software compatibility to other popular PDA platforms, initial development efforts have been focused on the BlackBerry smartphone due to its current, and projected, popularity.
eCrypt was successful in obtaining an Export Authorization with Mass Market Status for eCrypt privacy software for BlackBerry smartphones, a status recognized by the Wassenaar Arrangement that enables the company to export and re-export its software globally (as defined by the Export Administration Regulations).
Having built a solid foundation, eCrypt’s mission is to continue developing innovative privacy solutions that give individuals true end-to-end security and independence by putting control of the security application, literally, in the user’s hands.
